Yay Wednesday!!

These past few weeks have been crazy thus the lack of blogging. I went from a super-reduced teaching position with no clear idea for the fall to a technology coach position. I'm so thankful to have this worked out before Liza makes her arrival. So now it's time to link up with Jamie for "what I'm loving Wednesday" because I certainly have a lot to love this week.

(1)
A J-O-B!!! I'm going to be the technology coach for our district! We just passed a millage this past spring for technology and I can't wait to work with our staff to help them implement technology I their classrooms!!

(2)
Fresh food and local food! Last night we had bruschetta burgers for dinner - so delicious! The beef was from Jon's sister's cow, tomatoes and basil from our CSA, and some organic mozzarella from our local co-op.

(3)
Celebrating the new job with our family last night. We had brownies, ice cream, and hot fudge at our house along with lots of giggles and play-time with the nephews!

(4)
My little sweet pea, Liza. We are less than a month away from her anticipated due date! The time has flown by and we're so excited to meet her!

(5)
Technology blogs and working in my classroom. Yes we are crazy in northern Michigan and don't start school till after Labor Day!

(6)
Our newly arrived Sparty Tervis Tumblers and using camelcamel.com to get them on sale.  Have you guys used camelcamel before?  You can set price alerts and wait to purchase your item when it's on super-sale.  These bad boys were normally $40 for a 4-pack and I got them for $23.95!!  I love that they don't sweat and help keep your cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot!

(7)
And of course I'm loving my amazing husband and our sweet pup! :)
JW caught this fish on Sunday night in the bay -- woohoo for fresh salmon!!!

Oh hey Wednesday.

It's Wednesday -- halfway through the week!!  It's also time to link up with Jamie and share what I'm loving this week.

Here goes...

We had maternity pictures taken last night by a friend who also happened to sing at our wedding.  Here's a sneak peak!

I only have 2 more days left of summer school - I'm ready to be done and relax for a few more weeks before school officially starts back up.

We are EXACTLY one month away from Liza's expected arrival date -- CRAZY!

Oh loves!

Because it's Wednesday, it's officially time to link up with Jamie and share all the great things I'm loving this week! :)

[1]
That the weather cooled off a bit today.  It makes it easy to work inside on my Master's and not crave the sunshine and warmth outside.

[2]
That Liza's room is sooooo close to being done!  She even got her first anywhere chair yesterday.  Braden tested it out and decided she would like it :)  And of course, this is a good thing since her tentative arrival is only 5 weeks away!!

Speaking of that...any suggestions on what to pack in my hospital bag?

[3]
All the tomatoes starting to get yellow and orange in our garden -- it won't be long till we're totally overwhelmed with tomatoes.

[4]
The PB-chocolate {green} smoothie I made yesterday.  I know putting spinach in a smoothie doesn't sound great, but you can't even taste it and you get all the nutrients from it!

[5]
This sweet face...

[6]
My main man, JW.

What are you loving this week?

Wednesday, August 3, 2011

Hello lover.

I can’t believe it’s already Wednesday!!  As usual, this week has flown by on me.  I blame it on summer school starting up again.  Anyway, it’s time to link up with Jamie and chit chat about what I’m loving this week.

[1]
Fresh produce from our CSA and how it helped me to make these ‘Farmer’s Market Lasagna Rolls’ last night for dinner.  Recipe on those later today!

[2]
The rain yesterday.  Our yard was looking pretty dry (seeing as we’d rather water our garden than our lawn).  I know our garden loved the rain too.

[3]
Liza’s room is getting closer!  Here’s a few sneak peaks on what we’ve been working on lately!
Bookshelf that JW made for our little one!

Picture that my cousin, Chelsey painted specifically for Liza's room :)

Bassinet for our baby girl.  This came from my Grandma and she had used it for her kids, grandkids and even great grandkids.  And YES I will take the stuffed animals and blankets out before I use it.

[4]
This little girl is kicking and moving like crazy!  Every once in awhile her little jabs here and there are a bit uncomfortable, but I know it means she’s getting bigger and stronger.

[5]
Of course, I’m loving my wonderful husband, JW.

…and the Whit-bug!

Oh loves!

Oh, hello Wednesday!

As always, I’m linking up with Jamie to share what I’m loving this week!

Here goes…
[1]
I’m loving that we finally got a break from the heat.

[2]
I’m loving our awesome CSA share and fresh veggies from our garden!

[3]
I’m loving that JW, my parents, and I had a great time at Evan and Jen’s wedding this past weekend.  It was at the Dodge House and it was beautiful!

[4]
I’m loving that Liza’s room is really starting to come together and after a shower this weekend!

Sweater that my mom crocheted!

Piggy bank that Cousin Ann painted!

[5]
I’m loving our amazing family and friends for being so gracious and hosting/attending showers for our precious baby girl!

[6]
And I’m loving JW and the Whit-bug (even if she is responsible for the drool marks on the outside of my new car)!

Oh loves...

It’s that time of the week again!  Time to link up with Jamie at This Kind of Love and talk about what I’m loving this week:

[1]
Drying TONS of basil in our dehydrator.  We will have basil all fall, winter, and spring long!  And much cheaper than if we had bought it dried from the store!  Expect a post on how to do that later today or tomorrow!

[2]
Liza’s room is starting to come together.  Here’s a sneak peak…

[3]
We had an amazing weekend with our Alma friends.  Great company, great weather (for a change from last year) and as always yummy food.

[4]
Our garden is popping (and overcrowded, but we’re still newbies at this and are pretty excited that we’re getting anything out of it)!

[5]
Liza is getting bigger and bigger…which means she’s moving around some more and I can feel it.  This girl is getting stronger :)

[6]
That we started to look into cars today.  My car will work with our Liza bean, but JW’s truck will be a bit tight.  We’re checking out the Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia right now.  If you have thoughts towards one or the other, let us know please!!

[7]
Kicking butt on my to-do list this week.  It’s only Wednesday and I’ve already got TONS of stuff checked off!

[8]
As always, my lovely husband and our silly little fur-baby, the Whit-bug!
yes, she really does have a doggy "boat coat" used exclusively to swim around endlessly at the sand bar!
